Kyle Hustedt

"I have always been in love with the cabaret. In graduate school I would escape to a cabaret called Voltaire which was one of the most memorable times of my life. It was then that I had decided I needed to find a life in this art." K.H. Founder and artistic director, Kyle Hustedt, received a BA in music and theatre dance from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa as well as a MM in Opera performance from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. Kyle has worked around Chicago for Light Opera Works, Alley Cat Productions and Porchlight Music Theatre before moving to Fort Lauderdale, FL to work for the Jean Ann Ryan Company. While working for JAR he was seen as the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Weber's Music of the Night and worked aboard the M.S. Norwegian Star as vocal captain and an entertainer. Upon returning to Chicago Kyle was seen in the world premier of Madame X before beginning work on the Chicago Cabaret Project. He returned to work on the Norwegian Dream for the production of Rock This Town and Country Gold.
